It's time for the annual Grand Cheese Tasting at Morton's Gourmet Market!
Morton’s Gourmet Market, located at 1924 South Osprey Avenue in Sarasota, is proud to hold its 3rd annual The Big Cheese at Morton’s event Saturday, June 23, from 5-7 p.m. The Grand Cheese Tasting will feature an array of domestic, imported, and artisan cheeses. Morton’s chefs will perform on-site cooking demonstrations of various cheese-themed dishes and customers will have the opportunity to sample these creations.
Morton’s will showcase cooking stations throughout the market, offer wine and beer samplings along with cheese pairings, and have specialty cheese vendors in-house adding to the affair. In celebration of the event, Morton’s will be offering promotional pricing on cheeses throughout the store June 18-24. The Big Cheese at Morton’s is the perfect culinary event to satisfy cheese lovers.
A portion of the proceeds from The Big Cheese at Morton’s will benefit Morton Culinary Education Fund. Tickets for the Grand Cheese Tasting on Saturday are $10 in advance and $15 on the day of the event and can be purchased by either visiting Morton’s Gourmet Market or by calling (941) 955-9856.
